She can do whatever she wants (within reason of course) as long as we get to have a quiet dinner at the end of the day." We do this with Mato and you would be surprised how simple a child's wants are. This year he wants to go swimming, go the Science Discover Center or go to Fun Ranch in Tiendesitas again (he wants a party there kaso sinabi ko talaga it is quite expensive). Primarily because my kid wont even remember that party. Of course, Id splurge on my wedding kasi it is a memory I will treasure pero pag bata what for? I think it is more for the mommies and daddies than the kid herself. Mas magipon na lang pag gusto nya magdebut or pag seven na sya, Matthew is old enough and he can demand if he wants parties. Don't get me wrong, I love the challenge it gives however, things can get TOO challenging that I feel I'd burn out early if this continues *sigh* I love your ideas for your daughter's birthday.
