Those who know me would be aware that I ask the weirdest questions out of nowhere…for example I asked Ruy “If you were going to be given 20million dollars but then one person you know now would cease to exist for you. All memories and associations gone, would you take the money? ” …today I asked him another weird question…
Would you rather be smarter than you are prettier or prettier than you are smarter? — a follow up question would be, do you think you are prettier than you are smarter now, or is it the other way around?
Ruy said that he thinks he is smarter than he is prettier. He also said that that’s how he wants it to be as being stupid doesn’t appeal to him. I LOVE the answer…I hate stupid men, they make me want to throw up…
I’ve been thinking about my answer though, and to be honest I can’t decide which one I’d prefer and if I’m smarter or prettier…This is a tough question! I’m curious as to other people’s answers though…
What do you guys say? Are you prettier than you are smarter or smarter than you are prettier…and what would you rather be?

Smart over pretty. *laugh. But i think looks are harder to achieve than brains. Though persistence can make things seem real…Except for 3 things [ the- more- you- resist- the- more- it- comes- out- in- the- open kind of deal]

I would rather be smarter than prettier. A fugly person can still wear pretty shoes, pretty clothes and have pretty teeth. They’d still be ugly but Manolos, brains and gorgeous teeth? That’s gotta count for something. At least, in my world it does :D.

I forgot to answer the main question, LOL.
I wish I could say I was smarter than prettier (bec. I know I’m not pretty) ~ but even to say that isn’t true either. Since being a SAHM, my brain cells have withered up and died. Dead. As a result, I’m just rough and feistier now when I talk ~ in short, I’m ghetto. In Tagalog, squatter. LOL.

I’d say both at least relative to myself 10 years ago. I feel I am much prettier now than when I was 20 and definitely much smarter now.

just want to share this excerpt from some pageant i saw on tv long ago. this contestant was asked the ‘beauty or brains’ question, and lo and behold, she answered Beauty. according to her, one can always GO TO SCHOOL. haha
well one can also always go to belo, dermstrata, or enter extreme makeover. going to school doesn’t always make a genius out of a person. (just as going to a garage doesnt make you a car–heard this silly line somewhere)
so to answer the main question…(drum roll)..
well my personality /brains have taken me to more places , gotten me more friends/jobs than my looks (if it EVERR did anyway) so i guess im smarter than i am prettier. BOW. CURTSY. :p

Anyway, I sure love th way you think. I have the same fascination for such “out-of-the-ordinary” questions. I believe they give our brains some exercise so… keep it up Girl!
As for me, I would go for being smarter than prettier. These days, if you are smart enough… you can be as pretty as you can be! hehehehe… What’s all these Cosmetic Surgery hype for? Now, those have it all! hehehehe.
